2001-09 — 2002-08 E.U. Socrates-Erasmus at F.A.U.P. (faculdade de arquitectura da universidade do Porto). During this exchange programme I attended courses such as Urbanismo contemporaneo (Contemporary city planning, Prof. Nuno Portas - distinction/excellence 19/20]; Paisagismo (Landscape architecture, Prof. Laura Roldão e Costa, high pass - 15/20 - original research on the quinta de Vanzeleres gardens, Oporto); Interpretação dos sistemas constructivos (Interpretation of constructive systems, Prof. Manuel Teles); Desenho assistido por computador (C.A.D., Prof. Marco Ginoulhiac); Planeamento urbano (Urban planning theory, Prof. Rui Manuel Trindade Braz Afonso); Projecto 5 (5th year project studio, Prof. Manuel Fernandes Sá) in which I worked on a Masterplan and urban landscape project for the new public spaces surrounding OMA’s Casa da Muúsica and Eduardo Souto de Moura’s light-metro Casa da música station, Porto.)

CRUARB-CH

2003-01 — 2004-08. Comissariado para a renovação urbana da aerea Ribeira Barredo – Centro Historico (CRUARB-CH). Volunteer Architect, Masterplan architect, Urban-rehab Strategies consultant at Commissariat for the Ribeira Barredo Old Town area rehabilitation, Oporto City Government Authority, Portugal. Worked under the direction of Antonio Moura and as part of a project group that included Anne Simon, Cécile Hagmann, Charlotte Godard, Denis Clément, Gaëlle Goréguès, Julie Poirot, and Rozenn Coignard. Completed projects included: 

— Urban re-qualification & museum construction at Mindelo, Cape Vert.

— Restoration & conservation of seventeenth, eighteenth, and nineteenth-century façades along the Douro River, Oporto, Portugal (achieved).

— Redesign of Largo dos Lóios public space, Oporto, Portugal. 

— Feasibility study & plan for Batalha neighbor area, Oporto, Portugal. 

— Bar & layout of an archaeological stone element within a nineteenth-century factory transformed into a juvenile sports center (achieved), Oporto, Portugal. 

Urban furniture & stainless-steel balustrade design along rua Dão Manoel II "art-galleries" mile, Oporto, Portugal (achieved).
